South Asian Family Enrichment (SAFE) Program
This is an intensive case management and counselling program designed specifically to support South Asian victims (including children) of intimate partner violence.
The service delivery approach is to help victims and their children with their complex and high-needs situation. This program provides long-term ongoing support to victims and their families in their own language, respecting their customs, traditions, histories and lived experiences. The Coordinator works with each member of the family to
develop personalized care plans to meet the specific needs of each person and
address their unique challenges and goals. Additionally, the program helps victims
address emotional and psychological effects of trauma and assists with systems
navigation by helping clients fill out forms and follow-up accordingly.
