At Victim Services of Peel, we are keenly aware that our volunteers are an extremely important part of the work that we do. While the duties and responsibilities of our volunteers are challenging, they are also extremely rewarding!
Please note that due to the sensitive nature of the services we provide, applicants must undergo an extensive screening and training process.
Applicants who are seen to have a value base that is in harmony with the Agency’s mission statement, as well as appropriate skills and qualifications, or the ability to acquire them through VSOP training, will be offered an opportunity to take part in the Agency’s training curriculum.
By responding to community crises you can make a difference in people’s lives, but crisis response isn’t the only way you can get involved.
